Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

This policy explains what information BlueWeb collects when you visit blueweb.ink or hire us to build a website, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

BlueWeb is a website design business in Encino, California, run by Eli Steiner. When this policy says “we” or “us,” it means BlueWeb. You can reach Eli at esteiner0525@gmail.com or 714-465-6002.

What we collect

What you give us. When you fill out our “Your vision” form, email us or hire us, we collect your name, email, phone number (if you share it), business name, location, website address, and what you tell us about your business and the site you want.

Project materials. If you become a client, we collect the content, images, logos and account access you give us so we can build and run your site. If we register a domain for you, BlueWeb is listed as the domain’s owner with the registrar. If you later buy the domain from us, your name and contact details are listed instead. If you’re on a care plan, we connect your site’s Google Analytics and Search Console so we can put together your quarterly report.

Payment info. Payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares your name, email, billing address, the last four digits of your card and whether the payment went through.

Basic site usage. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It records things like which pages were viewed, which site sent you here, your browser and device type, and your country. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you personally. Netlify, our web host, also keeps standard server logs, like IP addresses and the pages requested, to run the site and keep it secure.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions and build your free demo
  • To build, launch and maintain your website
  • To register and renew your domain
  • To bill you and keep financial records
  • To put together your quarterly report if you’re on a care plan
  • To send occasional updates, only if you ask for them
  • To keep the site secure and figure out what’s working
  • To follow the law

AI tools

We use AI tools to build the first rough draft of each free demo from your “Your vision” answers, and to help write the summary in quarterly reports. A person on our team always reviews and edits the result before you see it. To do this, your answers are sent to the AI service and automation tool we use for this work.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

We share it only with the services that help us run BlueWeb, and only what they need: Netlify (hosting this site and receiving form submissions), Namecheap (domain registration), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (visitor stats), Google (email, plus Analytics, Search Console and Looker Studio for client reports), an AI service and an automation tool (demo drafts and report summaries), an SEO tool (keyword and site health tracking) and an uptime monitoring service (alerts when a client’s site goes down). James Walker, our CTO, and Matthew Baer, our CMO, see client information when they work on your project.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or if BlueWeb is ever sold or merged.

Tracking and Do Not Track

We don’t track you across other websites, and we don’t let other companies collect personal information about your browsing on our site over time or across sites. Because of that, the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How long we keep it

If you contact us but don’t hire us, we delete your message after 12 months. If you’re a client, we keep your records while you’re a client and for 7 years after, mostly for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we’re required to keep it.

Your choices

  • See, fix or delete your info: email esteiner0525@gmail.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
  • Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or tell us.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

California residents

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you can ask whether we’ve shared your personal information with other companies for their own marketing. We haven’t and we don’t. Email esteiner0525@gmail.com with any questions.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Sites we build for clients

This policy covers blueweb.ink and BlueWeb’s own services. Each client’s website has its own privacy policy, and the client is responsible for it. When we run a client’s site or put together their quarterly report, we only use their visitors’ data to do that work for them.

Security

We use HTTPS, trusted providers and limited access to keep your information safe. No system is perfect, so we can’t promise nothing will ever go wrong, but we’ll tell you if a breach affects you.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If it’s a big change, we’ll email current clients.
