Terms of Service

Effective date: October 8, 2026

These terms cover your use of blueweb.ink and any website project or care plan you buy from BlueWeb. By using the site or paying us, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

BlueWeb is a fictitious business name owned by Theresa Anne Steiner, a sole proprietor in Los Angeles County, California. The business is run by Eli Steiner, Founder & CEO. “BlueWeb,” “we” and “us” mean that business. “You” means the person or business using the site or hiring us.

2. Using this site

You can browse the site and contact us for any honest purpose. Don’t try to hack it, overload it, scrape it or use it to send spam. The text, logo and design on blueweb.ink belong to BlueWeb, so please don’t copy them without asking.

3. Our services

We offer the packages listed on our Pricing page. Before you pay anything, we build you a free demo from your “Your vision” answers and walk you through it, in person or over a video call. If you want to go ahead, we’ll send a written proposal with the scope, timeline and price. If the proposal and these terms ever disagree, the proposal wins for that project.

4. Paying for a website build

  • When it’s due: the full one-time fee is due before work starts.
  • How you pay: by card or bank transfer through Stripe.
  • Extra work: anything outside the proposal is billed at $50 an hour, and we’ll give you an estimate before we start.

5. Care plans

Built and launched comes with the Essentials care plan. Built, launched and kept current comes with the Growth care plan. What each plan includes is listed on our Pricing page. Your quarterly report lives on a private, password-protected page on your site.

  • Price: Essentials is $349 per quarter and Growth is $459 per quarter. The price is shown again at checkout.
  • Billing: your plan renews automatically every 3 months and is charged to your saved payment method until you cancel. Your first charge may be prorated so your billing lines up with our quarterly schedule. If it is, you’ll see that amount before you pay.
  • Minimum and cancelling: care plans have a 2-quarter minimum, so you’ll be billed for at least 2 quarters. After that, you can cancel anytime online through your Stripe billing page (the link is in your welcome email), by emailing esteiner0525@gmail.com or by calling 714-465-6002. Cancelling stops future charges, and your plan stays active until the end of the quarter you already paid for.
  • Edits and add-ons: Growth includes up to 2 hours of content edits per quarter, and unused hours don’t roll over. Extra work on either plan is billed at $50 an hour, and so are the Essentials add-ons (a seasonal refresh or a Google Business Profile check-in). We’ll tell you before we start.
  • Failed payments: if a payment fails and isn’t fixed within 14 days, we may pause your plan until it’s paid.
  • Price changes: we’ll email you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect, so you can cancel first.
  • Reminders: we’ll send you a receipt when you sign up and a reminder once a year with your price and how to cancel.

6. Refunds

A sale is final once you pay, and there are no refunds after that. This covers build fees and care plan quarters that have already been billed. We build you a free demo and walk you through it, in person or over a video call, before you pay, so you know what you’re getting. If you end a project partway, we hand over whatever is finished.

7. What we need from you

You’ll give us your content, images and logins on time, and you confirm you have the right to use everything you send us. If a project stalls for more than 60 days because we’re waiting on you, we may close it out and hand over whatever is finished.

8. Who owns what

Once you’ve paid in full, you own your finished website’s design and content. We keep the rights to our own tools, templates and code we reuse across projects, and we give you a permanent license to use them as part of your site. Fonts, plugins, stock photos and hosting platforms come with their own licenses.

Domains. On Built and launched and on Built, launched and kept current, BlueWeb registers your domain in its own registrar account and is its registered owner. While your care plan is active, you have the exclusive right to use it for your website and email. A standard domain (like a normal .com) is included in your care plan. A custom or premium domain is billed to you at cost for the purchase and every yearly renewal, and paying for it doesn’t make you its owner. We hold your domain only to run your site: we won’t sell it, point it anywhere else, or use it to impersonate or compete with your business. When your plan ends, you can buy the domain for a $100 transfer fee plus anything you still owe, and we’ll transfer it to your own registrar account. If you don’t ask for a transfer within 60 days after your plan ends, we may let it expire after emailing you at least 14 days before. If you buy The site itself, you register and own your own domain. The full details are in our Client Services Agreement.

We may show your site in our portfolio and on social media unless you tell us not to.

9. Accessibility

We build every site to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA at launch. On both care plans, we make every change to your site ourselves and keep it meeting that standard for each one, and our regular accessibility scan checks for problems. If you buy The site itself, keeping it accessible is up to you after we hand it over. Third-party tools you add are outside our control.

10. Limits on our liability

We work hard to do things right, but the site and our services are provided “as is.” We aren’t responsible for problems caused by hosting companies, Stripe, platforms or other tools we don’t control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the project or plan involved in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Ending things

Either side can end a project with written notice. If you end it, we hand over whatever is finished, and the no-refunds rule in section 6 applies. If we end it before the site is done, we’ll refund the part of the build fee that covers work we didn’t do. Ending a care plan works the way section 5 describes. Sections 8 and 10 still apply after a project or plan ends.

12. California law

These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the current one. Changes don’t apply to a project already under a signed proposal unless you agree.
